Jason Varsch

PERSONAL STORY

Jason is a dedicated professional with a unique background in both healthcare and law. 

Originally from Canada, he immigrated to the United States in 2001 and became a U.S. citizen. At that time, he pursued his career as a Registered Nurse. Throughout this 19-year career in the medical field, Jason specialized in pediatric hematology/oncology at Duke, worked in Pediatric Intensive Care at Yale, Vanderbilt, and Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and later transitioned into Emergency and Trauma care. He also worked in adult intensive care and served as a flight nurse. In doing so, he demonstrated his ability to perform in high-pressure, crucial situations. 

Following the unexpected passing of his wife, Jason made the decision to retire from nursing, move to Massachusetts and pursue a new path. While in nursing, Jason saw how medicine and law often intersect. He saw that while medicine could heal the body, many people still needed legal help to help pick up the pieces and reassemble their lives. That led him to desire a new career path in law.  

In doing so, he attended Bunker Hill Community College where he received his Associated Degree focused in Paralegal Studies. He is now part of the Diller Law team. As a paralegal, Jason brings the same dedication, empathy, and problem-solving skills that defined his nursing career. He is committed to guiding individuals through complex and life-altering events, helping them navigate the legal system with compassion and care.
